Job summary

Wedgwood Christian Services is seeking a Program Director for the UC Program to provide leadership across the interdisciplinary team, ensure contract and licensing compliance, and oversee daily operations in residential care settings. You will collaborate with senior leaders to drive program quality, data-informed decisions, and budget oversight while maintaining alignment with the agency’s mission.

The candidate will lead staffing, supervision, and evaluation processes, coordinate with partners

Qualifications

• Masters degree in social work or equivalent degree or Bachelor's with five years in child welfare administration and two years in program management
• Minimum five years of experience with adolescents and/or families
• Minimum three years of supervisory experience in a residential setting with understanding of licensing regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Applications including Outlook, Word and Excel

Responsibilities

• Ensure highest quality delivery of services per agency mission and values
• Liaise on licensing compliance for residential services
• Oversee ORR contract fulfillment and weekly team meetings
• Monitor investigations, corrective actions, and incident response for compliance
• Provide financial oversight and collaborate on business reviews with Residential Associate Director
• Participate in staff evaluations and hiring
• Regularly communicate with Chief Program Officer about risk in the program
• Track utilization and outcome data and ensure policy adherence

The UC Program Director is responsible for carrying out and overseeing all program contract and compliance direction They provide leadership in ongoing development of program and to participate at the administrative level in policy making planning and decision making The program director is to provide leadership to the interdisciplinary tea which includes management clinical team and direct care employees

RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure the highest quality delivery of services to youth in accordance with Wedgwood Christian Services Mission Statement and Principles and Core ValuesServes as the agency liaison for ongoing licensing compliance for residential treatment servicesEnsures that all aspects of the ORR contract are fulfilled in current servicesProvide oversight at weekly team meetings and work the Home Supervisor in overseeing daily routines program implementation and establishing a therapeutic milieuMaintain oversight and accountability for investigation corrective actionsMonitor debriefing and incident response team for ongoing compliance and effectivenessProvide financial oversight to the program by creating and presenting Business Reviews in collaboration with the Residential Associate DirectorCollaborates with Quality Assurance team for all residential audits data collection and contract informationCollaborate with all partners and outside entities to ensure high quality careComplete staff evaluations on a timely basis; use staff discipline procedures as necessary consulting with Human Resources as appropriateAssist and support all staff within their department in effectively carrying out of their roles and responsibilitiesMeet regularly with other administrative personnel to maintain good communication among various departmentsRegular participation in supervision meetings for the sharing of ideas feedback and department planningParticipate in the screening interviewing and hiring of staff for the UC programMeet regularly with Chief Program Officer to provide ongoing communication regarding risk situations within programResponsible for tracking and monitoring utilization and outcome dataEnsure that all programs are following Agency policy and procedures including any governmental contract or State LicensingChild Protective Services requirements Contract proper Agencies and complete Corrective Action Plans as requiredOther duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Masters degree in social work or equivalent degree in education psychology sociology or other relevant behavioral science degree or Bachelors degree plus five years of experience in child welfare administration and two years of experience in program managementMinimum of five years of experience working with adolescents andor familiesMinimum of three years of supervisory experience in a Residential setting with an understanding of Child Licensing regulationsProficiency in Microsoft Applications including Outlook Word and ExcelPrior experience with data analysis preferredPrior experience with program budgets preferredSubscription to the Statement of Faith of Wedgwood Christian Services and agreement with the goals purpose and objectives of the agencyBi lingual in English and Spanish preferred
