Qualifications

• Master's or doctorate degree in psychology, social work, counseling, marriage and family counseling, or another relevant behavioral health discipline from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure such as LLMSW, LMSW, LLPC, or LPC.
• Supervisory experience.
• Prior experience in a residential treatment setting preferred.
• Federally funded program requires vaccinations: Varicella, MMR, DTaP, and annual influenza vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Promote a holistic therapeutic approach and engage supportive adults in treatment.
• Provide weekly clinical oversight with the Home Supervisor and supervise daily routines, program implementation, and milieu.
• Collaborate with Wellness and Education staff to ensure service delivery.
• Support all department staff in carrying out roles and responsibilities.
• Develop client treatment plans with Education/Life Skills Specialist and other staff; make clinical decisions on activities and groups.
• Provide individual and group therapy.
• Oversee continued development and staffing of a therapeutic milieu.
• Track intake-to-aftercare data and contribute to program reporting and data analysis.
• Ensure quality assurance compliance and participate in peer supervision and reporting requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Oversees clinical services, and trains and supervises clinical staff. Ensures that behavioral health specialists complete relevant training on evidence-based practices in mental and behavioral health care delivery. They must ensure that child facing services are provided on-site and in a confidential manner, and for providing treatment to the clients of the UC program. Conducts mental health assessments, provides ongoing individual and group counseling services, screens for human trafficking concerns, and provides crisis intervention services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Promote a holistic therapeutic approach, with specific attention and support to include supportive adults in programming, engaging supportive adults in treatment, and empowering supportive adults to determine direction for clients and themselves.
• Provide oversight at weekly team meetings and work with the Home Supervisor in overseeing daily routines, program implementation, and establishing a therapeutic milieu.
• Collaborate with the Wellness and Education staff to assure the delivery of services.
• Assist and support all staff within their department in the effective carrying out of their roles and responsibilities.
• Develop treatment plans for each client, working with Education/Life Skills Specialist, Home Supervisor, the client’s Goal Worker, and other staff. Make appropriate clinical decisions about activities, groups, and events in which the client should participate.
• Provide individual and group therapy.
• Work closely with the Home Supervisor, providing clinical oversight, in the continued development, monitoring, and staffing of a therapeutic milieu in the program.
• Track information, beginning at intake and admission, through treatment and into aftercare, which becomes part of the statistical data bank of Wedgwood.
• Responsible for tracking and monitoring utilization and outcome data, including quarterly reporting for the all-agency report card.
• Responsible for quality assurance compliance, including but not limited to participating in peer supervision, peer utilization reviews, compliance with service delivery criteria and reporting requirements for each individual served.
• Responsible for timely Quality Assurance compliance as related to employee’s roles and functions.
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bi-lingual English and Spanish
• Master's or doctorate degree in psychology, social work, counseling, marriage and family counseling, or another relevant behavioral health discipline from an accredited program, university, or college where clinical experience is a program requirement and includes 2 years of postgraduate direct service delivery experience. – and -
• Valid state licensure, such as LLMSW, LMSW, LLPC, or LPC; - and -
• Supervisory experience.
• Prior experience working with an interdisciplinary team in a residential treatment setting preferred.
• Federally funded program requiring the following vaccinations:
  • Varicella: two doses of varicella vaccine (at least 4 weeks apart)
  • OR born in the United States before 1980 with a reported history of chickenpox (verified by an adult present at the time of illness)
  • OR titers indicating varicella immunity
  • OR documentation from healthcare provider verifying previous infection.
• MMR: Two doses of MMR vaccine (at least 4 weeks apart)
  • OR titers indicating immunity to all three diseases (Measles, Mumps, and Rubella)
• DTaP or DTap
  • Complete primary vaccination series. If primary vaccination series completed in childhood, one DTaP dose in adulthood.
• Influenza: Single dose annually during flu season

HOURS OF WORK: Monday- Friday, some on-call hours
