Hope For Youth is seeking a passionate Program Director to lead our Runaway and Homeless Youth Services (RHYS) team. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on youth and families across Long Island through community-based, trauma-informed, youth and family-centered care.
As Program Director, you will oversee our Youth Crisis Shelter, Basic Center Program, and Transitional Housing/Rapid Re-Housing (TH-RRH) programs. You'll play a key role in preventing youth homelessness by providing housing options, case management, and aftercare support through a housing-first approach.
Provide overall management of RHYS programs, ensuring quality care and compliance
Lead, mentor, and support case managers, interns, and program staff
Foster strong partnerships with community groups, coalitions, and government agencies
Oversee documentation, reporting, and program development
Deliver crisis intervention and counseling when needed
Ensure adherence to agency policies, state regulations, and funding requirements
Participate in on-call rotation for 24/7 support
Other work that relates to the program and position.
LMSW, LCSW, or LMHC
NYS driver's license in good standing
Ability to provide 24/7 on-call availability
