Job summary

Psychiatric Medical Care, LLC is launching a Senior Life Solutions program in Alturas, CA, with staff starting in January 2027 and a February opening. The role leads a small interdisciplinary team serving older adults (65+) with depression and anxiety related to aging, promoting compassionate, evidence-based care.

This onsite, Monday–Friday position emphasizes community outreach, referrals, census growth, and compliance with professional guidelines.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
• Graduation from a state-approved school of nursing.
• Psychiatric nursing experience preferred.
• Work with kindness and accountability to enhance the quality of life for our patients.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small disciplinary team including a psychiatric physician, therapist, and medical office coordinator.

• Referral development through hospital staff, providers, and community resources.

Patient Population:

Older adults ages 65 and up

Salary:

Up to $140,000 per year based on experience

Senior Life Solutions is an intensive outpatient therapy program designed to meet the unique needs of individuals, typically 65 and older, experiencing depression and/or anxiety related to life changes often associated with aging.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a small disciplinary team comprised of a psychiatric physician, therapist, and medical office coordinator providing services to the senior population.
• Engage with your local community through education (presentations, one-on-one meetings, etc.)
• Referral development through hospital staff, providers, and community resources
• Growing and maintaining patient census
• Ensure compliance through professional and ethical guidelines
• Other duties as assigned
