Job summary

Rome Radio Partners in Rome, Georgia, seeks an experienced Program Director to lead day-to-day programming across six stations, including Classic Country, NewsTalk, and Top 40. The role will focus on Modern Country, Adult Contemporary, and Top 40 scheduling, imaging, and promotions with oversight of station websites.

• Must have a solid understanding of programming automation systems, specifically Wide Orbit.
• Preference for candidates who have worked with Marketron NXT.

Responsibilities

• Create imaging and develop programming promotions for on-air and online presence.
• Oversee station websites and coordinate with voice talents in and out of market.

Job Description and Responsibilities

Rome Radio Partners, based in Rome, Georgia, is searching for an experienced Program Director. Our listening area is 300,000+ people in a five-county area between Atlanta and Chattanooga.

The Program Director will be responsible for general knowledge and experience in multiple formats and stations including Classic Country, Modern Country, NewsTalk, Gold-based Adult Contemporary, Classic Rock and Top 40.

Day to day programming will primarily focus on Modern Country, Adult Contemporary, and Top 40 music scheduling. Responsibilities include imaging, developing programming promotions, and oversight of station websites. Excellent communications skills needed to work with voice talents in and out of market.

Occasional backup for the Production Department is required.

Requirement:
