The Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) at Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center - McNair Campus in Houston is a newly relaunched 30-bed inpatient rehab center designed to support patients recovering from serious conditions like stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, complex neurological disorders, amputation, and orthopedic injury.

The incumbent shall be responsible for the total operation of the rehabilitation program. The incumbent plans, directs and coordinates program activities to ensure that company and client goals are met. The incumbent shall also be accountable for and contribute to program development, quality improvement and problem solving, and productivity enhancement in a flexible interdisciplinary fashion.
The incumbent must possess a current clinical license (Physical Therapist PT, Occupational Therapist OT, or Speech Language Pathologist SLP) to practice as required by the state. A track record of successful management experience in a health or human services setting and/or an extensive rehabilitation background combined with strong interpersonal and organizational skill is necessary. Experience working with a geriatric disabled population is preferred. Provision of own transportation is necessary. Computer and current technology competence.
