Job Description

Job Summary

Responsible for managing internal business projects and programs involving department or cross-functional teams of subject matter experts. Delivers products through the design process to completion, plans and directs schedules and budgets, and monitors projects from inception to delivery. May oversee external vendors and assign, direct, and monitor system analysis and program staff. This role primarily focuses on project/program management, with some technical team involvement. The Senior Program Management Professional is responsible for overall governance across operational and strategic portfolios, requiring strong leadership, presentation skills to C-level executives, and extensive knowledge of portfolio and project management tools and methodologies. Must be able to quickly process information, make informed decisions, and handle multiple priorities and ambiguity while managing strategic relationships with Corporate EPMO and IT. Also oversees issue escalation and resolution processes.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Manage programs using staff and matrixed resources with oversight from AVP and VP.
• Serve as industry Subject Matter Expert and lead programs to meet critical needs.
• Escalate gaps and barriers in implementation and compliance to senior management.
• Develop business case methodologies and coordinate business strategy implementation.
• Collaborate with other units at corporate and Molina Plans.

Job Qualifications

Required Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Required Experience

7-9 years.

Preferred Education

Graduate degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Experience

10+ years Provider Data Operations experience, including with State Master Files; advanced Excel skills with large data sets.

Preferred License, Certification, Association

PMP, Lean Six Sigma, ITIL delivery experience.
