Code and Theory in New York seeks a Program Director to oversee a portfolio of co-developed, productized solutions, partnering with a major enterprise platform and leading a matrixed team of PMs and producers.

You will balance strategic vision with hands-on delivery, establishing scalable processes, driving governance, and ensuring on-budget, high-quality outcomes across multiple workstreams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of program/project delivery leadership in a creative/digital agency, consultancy, or professional services environment.
• Proven track record delivering complex, cross-functional programs across scope, schedule, budget, risk, and quality.
• Demonstrated strength managing multiple workstreams with significant dependencies and keeping momentum.
• Strong client management and communication skills: ability to set expectations, negotiate tradeoffs, and lead through ambiguity.
• Experience operating in ambiguous, build-and-launch environments with evolving offerings and structured delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end program delivery across co-developed solution initiatives, building agility, rigor, and precision into execution.
• Operationalize productized solutions: translate concepts into repeatable offerings with clear inputs/outputs, delivery approach, and packaging.
• Manage multiple concurrent timelines and complex dependencies across disciplines, workstreams, and stakeholders with crisp plans and escalation paths.
• Own day-to-day stakeholder alignment and expectation management, even when paired with a client engagement lead.
• Establish operating rhythms and governance across workstreams: intake, prioritization, approval paths, milestone plans, dependency management, and release readiness.
• Drive transparency and accountability through executive-ready reporting (progress, burn vs. budget, forecast, risks, gaps, blockers) and remediation plans.
• Own scoping and financial performance: estimation, resourcing plans, burn management, forecasting, and change management.
• Partner with go-to-market stakeholders to align delivery with commercialization needs and enterprise sales expectations.
• Collaborate with enterprise marketing technology stakeholders to ensure offerings are practical for real-world adoption in martech ecosystems.
• Lead and develop a matrixed team of PMs/producers with coaching, prioritization support, escalation management, and coverage planning.
• Collaborate with technical/platform stakeholders; familiarity with the Adobe ecosystem (AEM, Workfront, Adobe Experience Cloud) is a strong plus.
