Job summary

TPC Group is seeking a Corporate Manager, Process Safety Management (PSM) to lead the enterprise PSM/RMP framework across our facilities in the United States. You will own and govern the PSM program and its 14 elements, ensuring compliant practices, risk reduction, and robust incident learning.

Responsibilities include managing the EPA RMP obligations, coordinating with Legal, Operations, and Engineering, and developing staff while driving continuous improvement in process safety performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of process safety leadership across multisite petrochemical/chemical manufacturing.
• Expertise with OSHA PSM (29 CFR 1910.119) and EPA RMP (40 CFR Part 68).

Responsibilities

• Own and govern the enterprise PSM/RMP programs and 14 elements (e.g., PSI, PHA, Operating Procedures, Training, Mechanical Integrity, MOC, PSSR, Incident Investigation, Compliance Audits, Contractor Management, Hot Work, Emergency Planning/Response).
• Lead implementation of PSM/RMP requirements and consent decree obligations, coordinating with Legal, Operations, and Engineering.
• Develop and mentor process safety management staff, driving continuous improvement, performance metrics, and auditable documentation.
