North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University is seeking a Program Director for the Physician Assistant Program. This is a tenure-track position responsible for overseeing all aspects of the program, from organization and management to maintaining accreditation. The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in a relevant field and a minimum of three years of educational experience. This is an on-site role requiring active involvement in the university's operations.
The successful candidate will collaborate with admissions and marketing to recruit students while ensuring compliance with accreditation standards.
Program Director, Physician Assistant Program (Position Number: 009889). This 12‑month tenure‑track faculty position will report to the Dean of the Hairston College of Health and Human Sciences. The Director oversees all aspects of the Physician Assistant (PA) Program, including organization, management, fiscal oversight, continuous review and analysis, curriculum planning, clinical site development, faculty and staff supervision, program assessment, and maintaining accreditation with the Accreditation Review Committee on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC‑PA). The Director collaborates with Admission, Marketing and Communication to recruit students and ensure compliance with accreditation standards.
On‑site. Employees are primarily in the office and/or have a critical job requirement that requires dedicated office space on‑site.
