Lifepoint Rehabilitation, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks a Program Director of Rehabilitation for Henry Ford Providence Hospital in Southfield, MI. This full-time exempt role leads the inpatient rehab program, focusing on clinical, financial, and administrative performance to deliver patient-centered care.

Join an interdisciplinary team and drive budgets, strategic goals, staff development, and compliance with treatment standards while representing the program in internal and external meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a clinical discipline or healthcare management.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in rehab leadership or administration.
• Valid clinical license as applicable by state.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operations of the inpatient rehabilitation program including clinical, financial, and administrative performance.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care and compliance with treatment standards.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets, goals, and strategic plans.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and accrediting agencies.
• Supervise and develop staff; provide ongoing training and support.
• Analyze performance metrics and implement quality improvement initiatives.
• Represent the rehab program in internal and external meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The acute rehab unit at Henry Ford Providence Southfield Hospital has an interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, therapists, and social workers. They work together to provide patient-centered care and help patients regain independence and safely return home.

How You'll Contribute

What We're Looking For

Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in a clinical discipline or healthcare management. Additional requirements include:

• We welcome clinical candidates from the following disciplines: Registered Nurses (RN), Physical Therapists (PT), Occupational Therapists (OT), Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP), and Master of Social Work (MSW) professionals.*
• Minimum of 3 years experience in rehab leadership or administration.
• Valid clinical license as applicable by state.
