Job summary

Universal Hospital Services Inc. seeks a Director of Milieu Management to plan, oversee and direct the clinical operation of the milieu department, including budgeting, compliance and strategic planning. You will ensure adherence to standards of care and mental health practice.

You will lead patient care activities and guide MHTs and Milieu Managers, contributing to the hospital's educational and quality improvement efforts while aligning with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a Human Services or Social Services preferred.
• 3-5 years of manager experience preferred.
• 5-10 years of related work experience preferred.
• Licensed is a plus.

Responsibilities

The Director of Mileu Management is responsible for planning, oversight, and directing the clinical operation of the milieu department including budgeting, fiscal management, program operations, compliance, and strategic planning. This role is also responsible for managing and directing the activities of patient care in accordance with the established standards of care, mental health practice and facility policy, goals, and objectives. This position contributes to the hospital’s philosophy, objectives, educational and quality improvement efforts, while providing guidance to the MHTs & Milieu Managers.

The individual in this role is part of a team tasked to lead and take ownership for every aspect of service delivery and fiscal operation of the center.
