Dungarvin in Connecticut is seeking a Program Director to oversee and coordinate programs for individuals with developmental disabilities. You will supervise 4 CLAs in Bristol-area locations and report to the main office in Wallingford.

This role blends direct care with supervisory duties. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, 3+ years direct experience with individuals with disabilities, and 2+ years in management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required, human services field of study preferred.
• At least 3 years of full time, direct experience working with participants with developmental disabilities or intellectual disabilities.
• At least 2 years of management experience working with development disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the assigned program(s) for individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Supervise 4 CLAs in locations around Bristol; report to the Wallingford main office.
• Coordinate and manage operations, medical, financial and maintenance aspects of programs.
• Lead personnel management, orientation, and ongoing training; ensure program goals and plans are implemented.
