General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks a Program Director to oversee and manage the operational, financial, and contractual delivery aspects of major IT programs in the Washington DC area.

You will direct all program phases, lead senior client interactions, and ensure performance metrics and budgets are met. The role requires 10+ years in enterprise IT program management, PMP, and ITIL certifications, with citizenship and background checks.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Science or related field required.
• MBA or MS in Computer Science or Engineering preferred.
• 10+ years of Enterprise IT Infrastructure Program Management experience.
• Large-scale Data Center management with 2000+ servers and 5000+ devices.
• U.S. Citizenship and a background investigation required.
• PMP Certification required.
• ITIL Foundations required; ITIL SL or MP desired.
• CISSP, AWS or Azure certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion.
• Oversees cost, schedule and technical performance of programs.
• Participates in the negotiation of contracts and contract changes.
• Meets contractual performance metrics such as SLAs, KPIs, and other metrics.
• Responsible for program financial metrics and budgets.
• Acts as primary customer contact and leads program review sessions.
• Establishes design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for products.
• Develops new business or expands the product line with the customer.
• Monitors milestones and resources, adjusts plans as needed.
• Directs the work of program staff across technical and administrative areas.
• Serves as senior business leader, shaping customer acquisitions and responses.
• Manages risk tracking and coordinates with vendors and client staff.
