Job summary

The Guatemalan Maya Center is seeking an energetic Program Director to lead the ParentChild+ initiative, an early childhood development program. You will oversee program development, staff supervision, and community engagement to strengthen parent-child relationships and educational outcomes in underserved communities.

This role involves ensuring adherence to Florida laws, producing monthly reports for funding agencies, and coordinating with local partners to plan services for families involved

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (Psychology, Sociology, or Early Childhood Education preferred).
• Minimum one (1) year experience working with children/families.
• Considerable knowledge and understanding of Childhood Development.
• Bilingual required (English-Spanish), trilingual preferred (in any Mayan language).

Responsibilities

• Supervise ParentChild+ home visiting staff and evaluate staff performance.
• Oversee evaluation and reporting for the ParentChild+ program.
• Plan and monitor the operation of the model and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with partners to achieve sentinel outcomes and plan services.
• Provide training and education for program staff.
• Represent the program at local, regional, and national meetings.
