Job summary

Compass Family Services seeks a Program Director to provide full center operational oversight, ensuring health, safety, quality and regulatory compliance for early childhood education and family services. You’ll lead staffing, curriculum implementation, family engagement, and fiscal management.

You will set a vision for quality, maintain high standards, and align programs with funding requirements, accreditation, and regulatory standards while collaborating across teams.

Qualifications

• BA or MA in Early Childhood Education/Special Education or related field.
• Program Director Permit and 6 units of infant-toddler ECE (or eligible for permit).
• Five+ years of experience supervising staff.
• Spanish fluency strongly desired.
• Knowledge of Title 5/Title 22 requirements; NAEYC knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive leadership and management of all center operations.
• Establish and maintain a vision for high-quality early childhood education and family services.
• Oversee daily program operations and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Develop curricula and collaborate with staff on learning activities; partner with Senior Director for long-range planning.
• Represent Compass Children’s Center in leadership and cross-program meetings.
