Job summary

HCI College seeks a Program Director for the AS-BMET program at its West Palm Beach campus. This on-site leadership role oversees curriculum, faculty supervision, PAC engagement, and clinical partnerships to ensure graduates meet entry-level BMET competencies. Strong ACCSC and regulatory knowledge is required.

The role demands strategic program development, budget stewardship, and hands-on teaching when needed to maintain educational quality and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree or higher in Biomedical Engineering, BME, or related field; master’s preferred.
• Minimum four years of related practical work in BMET, HTM, or medical-device service.
• CBET or AAMI credentials preferred; experience with ACCSC accreditation standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site academic leadership and program head duties for the AS-BMET program.
• Recruit, hire, supervise, and develop BMET faculty; manage curriculum and labs.
• Lead PAC activities and employer engagement to secure externships and job outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with ACCSC, state, and federal regulations; oversee program reporting and documentation.
• Oversee marketing, admissions support, and budget planning for the BMET program.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biomedical Engineering / Biomedical Engineering Technology

Master’s degree preferred
