Job summary

Dungarvin is seeking an Operational Program Director to lead and coordinate programs serving individuals with ID, DD, mental health diagnoses, medical needs, and autism spectrum conditions. The role blends direct care with supervisory duties and requires flexibility in scheduling.

The OPD is on-call and must ensure staff meet employment criteria, with occasional direct service shifts not exceeding 16 hours per week. Strong leadership, planning, and regulatory knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in behavioral science or related field preferred.
• Three years' experience supervising staff in human services.
• Valid United States driver’s license with clean background check as per policy.
• Ability to lift and transfer individuals and provide personal cares.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate programs serving individuals with ID, DD, mental health diagnoses, medical needs, and autism spectrum.
• Ensure all direct service shifts are staffed by trained staff and that orientation is completed.
• Be on call and respond to emergencies for comparable authority when needed.
• Balance direct service work with supervisory duties and coordinate with the director and program staff.
