Wayside Youth in Waltham, MA seeks a flexible, mission-driven Program Director to lead the PACT-Y model and coordinate with DMH to provide high-quality, youth-focused services. Program Director PACT-Y

Community Services - Waltham

Wayside's Waltham site is seeking a flexible, creative, and mission-driven Program Director to oversee an innovative, evidence based model of treatment in Massachusetts, the Program for Assertive Community Treatment for Youth (PACT-Y). This program is a DMH funded, intensive, self-contained community-based program and the Program Director will work collaboratively with DMH to best serve youth, young adults, and their families. The Program Director will need to have extensive experience working with youth and young adults with serious mental health issues. The PACT-Y Program Director will lead a strong multi-disciplinary team to meet the specifications of this contracted service model. The PACT-Y Program Director is committed to ensuring the program provides superior therapeutic care that is individualized, flexible, and culturally responsive to referred families.

Due to contract, the Program Director position requires a candidate to hold a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field and must hold an independent license (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT) or be independently license eligible within 6 months of hire.

Salary Range: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00/year + sign-on bonus (half paid after 6 months of employment and the other half paid after 1 year of employment/pro-rated for part-time).

What You Will Do:

• The Program Director will oversee all the daily functions of PACT-Y, including: manage utilization for the program; manage billing; oversee all aspects of the program as it pertains to mission, quality, and risk; maintain a collaborative and responsive relationship with DMH for the contract; oversee hiring, training and evaluation of all new program employees; supervise specific staff in the program, including the program’s Assistant PD.
• The Program Director reports to the Waltham Site Director and will be part of the larger management team at the site where they will help foster a supportive and inclusive culture for all site staff.

Minimum Requirements:

• The Program Director position requires a candidate to hold a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field and must hold an independent license (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT) or be independently license eligible within 6 months of hire.
• Qualified candidates will have experience in program management and providing clinical supervision.
• Driving in the community is a requirement of this position; please ensure you have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
