Job summary

Rome Radio Partners in Rome, GA, is seeking an experienced Program Director to oversee programming for six stations, including WRGA and WRBF. You will manage imaging, promotions, and website content while directing daily scheduling across Modern Country, AC, and Top 40 formats.

Collaboration with voice talents and leadership of the programming team are essential. The role requires detailed orientation, a deep understanding of automation systems (Wide Orbit), and a preference for Marketron NXT

Qualifications

• Detailed oriented with ability to handle surprise challenges in a multi-station environment.
• Strong knowledge of programming automation systems, specifically Wide Orbit.
• Preference for candidates with experience using Marketron NXT.

Responsibilities

• Imaging, developing programming promotions, and oversight of station websites.
• Day-to-day scheduling for Modern Country, Adult Contemporary, and Top 40 formats.
• Lead programming across multiple stations and formats and collaborate with voice talents.
• Occasional backup support for Production Department.

Job Description and Responsibilities

Rome Radio Partners, based in Rome, Georgia, is searching for an experienced Program Director. Our listening area is 300,000+ people in a five-county area between Atlanta and Chattanooga.

The Program Director will be responsible for general knowledge and experience in multiple formats and stations including Classic Country, Modern Country, NewsTalk, Gold-based Adult Contemporary, Classic Rock and Top 40.

Day to day programming will primarily focus on Modern Country, Adult Contemporary, and Top 40 music scheduling. Responsibilities include imaging, developing programming promotions, and oversight of station websites. Excellent communications skills needed to work with voice talents in and out of market.

Occasional backup for the Production Department is required.

Requirement:
