Job summary

Kids for the Future seeks an experienced operations leader to oversee daily activities across multiple sites in Wisconsin. You will supervise site supervisors and staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage budgets while delivering person-centered services.

With 3–5 years of leadership in residential or IDD settings and knowledge of Wisconsin DHS 83/88, you will drive staff development, performance reviews, and strategic planning with the Regional Executive Director.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Human Services, or related field.
  • Master's preferred for multi-site oversight.
  • 3–5 years of leadership in residential services or IDD programs.
  • Experience overseeing multi-site operations.
  • Wisconsin DHS 83/88 experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of two or more sites, ensuring high-quality, person-centered services.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including licensing requirements.
  • Lead site supervisors and direct support staff; maintain staffing levels and oversee recruitment.
  • Conduct regular supervision, coaching, and performance reviews of direct reports.
  • Maintain regular on-site presence across all assigned sites with walk-throughs and audits.
  • Manage program budgets and monitor expenses to meet financial targets.
  • Support development and implementation of individual service plans.
  • Foster relationships with guardians, case managers, and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely documentation, incident reporting, medication administration, and follow-up actions.
  • Collaborate with Regional Executive Director on planning and talent development.

Overview:

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including licensing requirements
  • Lead and manage site supervisors and direct support staff; ensure adequate staffing levels and oversee recruitment and retention efforts
  • Conduct regular supervision, coaching, and performance reviews of direct reports
  • Maintain regular bi-weekly on-site presence across all assigned sites; establish a consistent routine of walk-throughs, audits, and check-ins
  • Manage program budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure efficient use of resources in alignment with financial targets
  • Support and monitor the development and implementation of individual service plans
  • Foster positive relationships with guardians, case managers, and external stakeholders
  • Ensure timely documentation, incident reporting, medication administration, and follow-up actions
  • Collaborate with the Regional Executive Director on strategic and operational planning, program expansion, and talent development
  • Support a culture of data-driven decision-making and staff accountability using KPI's
  • Respond promptly to emergencies, staffing issues, or concerns from individuals or families
Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8-5pm
Pay: 65,000
Requirements
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Human Services, Social Work, or related field required
    • (Master's preferred for multi-site oversight)
  • Minimum 3–5 years of leadership experience in residential services, assisted living, or IDD programs
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing multi-site operations strongly preferred
  • Prior experience in Wisconsin regulated settings required
    • Wisconsin DHS 83 (CBRF)
    • Wisconsin DHS 88 (AFH)
