Job summary

Dungarvin is seeking a Program Director to oversee and coordinate the assigned program(s) serving individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities and/or mental health diagnoses. This role blends direct care with supervisory duties and requires building a skilled team to deliver person-centered supports.

You will manage staff orientation and training, monitor program goals, and ensure operations align with licensing, budgets, and quality standards while maintaining strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in human services.
• At least 1 year full-time direct experience with participants with developmental disabilities or intellectual disabilities.
• At least 2 years of experience in management and working with development or intellectual disabilities.
• Candidates without a bachelor’s degree may be considered if they have 5+ years of direct supervision/management experience in Human Services.
• Experience in developing and implementing individual programs, budgets, and supervising employees.

Responsibilities

• Personnel management and program coordination including orientation and ongoing training.
• Monitor all aspects of the program including goals and plans.
• Coordinate and manage operations, medical, financial and maintenance aspects of the programs.
• Provide leadership and team building with staff at programs.
• Ensure quality of services in alignment with person-centered practices and licensing requirements.
• Direct care as needed at programs.

Starting Salary: $52,900 annually

Schedule: Full-time withon callresponsibilities. Schedule will vary based onneedsof programs and may include evenings and weekends.

Job Description

Dungarvin is hiring aProgram Director. As a Program Director, you will have oversight andberesponsible forcoordinating and managing the overall assigned program or programs in relation to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities and/or mental health diagnosis.This position is a mixture of both direct care and supervisory duties.

• Monitorall aspects of the program including but not limited to developing individual goals and plans, implementing the program.
• Assure coordination and management of the overall operations, medical, financial and maintenance aspects of the programs, through guiding and directing thedesignee of the site.
• Provide leadership and team building with staff at programs.
• Ensure quality of services in alignment withperson centeredpractices,licensingand Dungarvin expectations.
• Direct care asneeded at programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services field of study preferred.
• At least1-year full time,direct experience working with participants with developmental disabilities or intellectual disabilities.
• At least 2 years of experience in management and working with development or intellectual disabilities.
• Candidates without abachelorslevel degree may be considered if they have working experience within the Human Services field that includes at least 5yearsdirect experience in supervision and management.
• Prior experience in developing and implementingindividual'sprograms, implementing budgets, and supervising employees is desired.
• Demonstrate good decision-making, timemanagementand communication skills, and be responsible and flexible.
• Ability to lift/transfer and provide personalcaresto persons served.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance
• Good communicationis key in this role.You’llrely on your reading, writing, and communication skills to document care, follow support plans, and collaborate with both internal and external team members.
