A leading company in the human services sector seeks a Program Supervisor to manage interdisciplinary teams and ensure quality care for individuals with disabilities. Key responsibilities:
· Ensures coordination of all members of each interdisciplinary team (IDT), promoting and maintaining the
excellence of the program and ensuring implementation of person-centered treatment and behavior plans
and coordination of medical care, medication administration and other necessary services.
· Supervises managers across multiple programs, overseeing and coordinating daily operations with support departments and ensuring programs are meeting the needs of the people we support and all applicable regulatory and agency standards.
· Responsible for ensuring the appropriate, therapeutically documented level of supervision in assigned programs to protect the health, safety and habilitation of the people we support, consistent with agency philosophy and department practices and in line with Federal, State, Local and regulatory requirements and in support of quality care and positive outcomes.
· Supports development of professional, empathetic relationships with families, service providers, and community members and advocacy for persons with disabilities to local government and community and fostering of interagency collaboration and communication between relevant supports by Program Supervisors.
· Evaluates program staffing needs, based on complexity and needs of the people we support and ensures appropriate coverage at assigned programs.
· Participates in the development of new programs/initiatives, as needed.
· Plays an active role in the hiring process, interviewing and selecting qualified program leadership.
· Assesses work performance and ensures quality service provision through ongoing staff supervision and observation.
· Fosters professional development through regular supervision, training, and evaluations.
· Retains diverse, highly qualified leaders and provides career coaching, growth, and personal development for
direct/indirect reports.
· Assists Supervisors in resolving relevant program, staff and family concerns and provides ongoing consultation/problem solving support to the Interdisciplinary Team regarding clinical, behavioral and/or health related challenges with the people we support.
· Complies with and ensures that staff complies with all Federal, State, Local and other relevant regulatory agency requirements, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and cooperation with appropriate entities in any inspection, inquiry or investigation (e.g. DHS).
· In the absence of a Program Supervisor, provides coverage including: program oversight, staff training, adherence to state and city regulations, managing program budgets, liaising with families, floor coverage, as necessary.
Participates in the development and management of program budgets, ensures that programs are operating the program within budgetary guidelines and provides oversight of all financial systems related to the people we support.
· Oversees completion and maintenance of all paperwork and written records related to individual treatment, billing, if applicable, and compliance with all relevant laws, rules and/or regulations. This may include, but is not limited to, medical and medication management records and auditing, treatment records, progress reports, data collection, behavior reports, incident reports, billing records, as applicable, and other written communication systems.
Ensures compliance with Federal, State, City and/or other oversight agency laws, rules, regulatory or program requirements by passing monthly, quarterly and annual compliance audits and surveys, as applicable.
Ensures documentation and reporting of errors, incidents and corrective actions and assists with the investigative process, if needed; facilitates audits, as needed · Participates in community relations and fundraising activities
Make decisions according to agency policy to ensure appropriate treatments and delivery of services to people supported. · May serve as Administrator-on-Call (Available/On Call Supervisor) with other program leadership on an as needed basis and provides program/floor coverage, when necessary.
