Job summary

CBEM LLC is looking for a dynamic and strategic Program Director to lead the Critical Intervention Team in East Los Angeles and surrounding areas. This role involves managing day-to-day operations, supervising staff, and ensuring quality client services, all while aligning with CBEM’s mission.

The ideal candidate should have a Master’s degree in psychology or related fields and at least 3 years of experience in team management, along with strong leadership and knowledge of developmental disabilities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in team management.
• Strong knowledge of DSM‑V and experience working with developmental disabilities.
• Applicants must live near the Eastern Los Angeles Regional Center service area.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor staff, including Assistant Directors and Critical Intervention Specialists.

About the Role

CBEM is seeking a dynamic and strategic Program Director to lead the Critical Intervention Team in East Los Angeles, CA and surrounding cities, Pasadena, Monterey Park, Alhambra, Montebello, Whittier, Highland Park, and Commerce. You’ll manage day-to-day operations, lead a team of specialists, and act as the primary liaison with the Regional Center. Your clinical expertise and supervisory skills will be key in maintaining the quality of services while ensuring alignment with CBEM’s mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor staff, including Assistant Directors and Critical Intervention Specialists.
• Ensure the quality of client services, overseeing case reviews, and stabilization plans.
• Engage with external stakeholders to represent CBEM and expand service outreach.
• Manage budgets, performance reviews, and program goals.
• Lead team meetings, acknowledge successes, and promote employee development.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or related fields.
• 3+ years of experience in team management.
• Strong knowledge of DSM‑V, Applied Behavior Analysis, and experience working with developmental disabilities.

• Given the requirements of the crisis response time, applicants must live in close proximity to or in the Eastern Los Angeles Regional Center service area (locations include but not limited to Pasadena, Monterey Park, Alhambra, Montebello, Whittier, Highland Park, Commerce, etc.).
