Job summary

CBEM LLC in San Jose, CA is seeking a full-time, hourly Crisis Specialist to provide support to individuals in crisis and implement CBEM’s intervention strategies. The role involves collaboration with psychiatrists, BCBA, and psychologists, and active participation in interdisciplinary planning meetings.

You will join a team committed to holistic crisis services, with structured trainings, supervision, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or Applied Behavior Analysis.
• Must have a California Driver’s license in good standing and insurance.
• Preferred experience with the Developmentally Disabled population is a bonus!

Responsibilities

• Provide support to individuals in crisis; preventative, acute, or chronic crisis management.
• Implement Strategies and Interventions developed by CBEM’s Critical Intervention Specialist (CIS).
• Consult with a Psychiatrist, BCBA, and Psychologist.
• Participate in clinical trainings
• Participate and/or facilitate Interdisciplinary planning meetings.

Our process begins with observations from which we design a comprehensive plan. It continues on as we teach our clients and their circle of support how to obtain positive, sustainable outcomes.

Location: San Jose, CA (and surrounding counties), In-Person/Onsite Required

Reports to: Program Director

Employment Status: Full-time, Hourly

Salary: $31.98 hourly + opportunities for quarterly bonuses
