YMCA is seeking a program supervisor to lead an after-school/out-of-school time program at King Elementary School, on-site with Wellmark YMCA in Des Moines. You will oversee curriculum delivery, staff supervision, and partnership building with school personnel.
The role requires 21+ years of age, a related degree or equivalent experience, and certification prerequisites including CPR/First Aid and abuse prevention training, with ongoing professional development within 30 days of start.

POSITION SUMMARY: This position directly manages a signature out of school time program (After School and Out-of-School Time programming). It is responsible for the oversight of the program and, in partnership with the collaborating school, will facilitate the integration of program into the overall school culture. This position is responsible for delivering a program that promotes children feeling valued as individuals and helps them achieve, build relationships and belong. The position is charged with creating an environment of advocacy, collaboration, and partnership between stakeholders and the Y movement with site based relationships which include; youth, parents, administrators, and teachers. This position supervises staff and volunteers.
JOB LOCATION: King Elementary School (off site from the Wellmark YMCA)
HOURS/DAYS SCHEDULE: Must be available Mon-Fri from 9:30a to 5:30p during the school year and 8:00a-4:00p during summer programming.
PAY RANGE: $18.00/hour - $21.00/hour
