Job summary

University at Buffalo is seeking a Program Coordinator for the Startup and Innovation Collaboratory within the Division of Student Life. The role supports a collaborative, student-centered team that connects UB students with entrepreneurial resources, expertise, and networks from campus and the Western New York community.

You will lead and manage our portfolio of entrepreneurial development programs, coordinating training, workshops, panels, mentorship, and program experiences while handling

Position Summary

The Division of Student Life is accepting applications for a Program Coordinator to support the Startup andInnovation Collaboratory. In this role, you will joina collaborative, student-centered team focused on connectingUniversity at Buffalo students with entrepreneurial resources,expertise, and networks from the campus and greater Western NewYork community.

As Program Coordinator, you will lead and manage our portfolio of entrepreneurial development programs designed to encourage,inspire, and empower our future innovators and makers.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinate entrepreneurial training programs by organizingresources, alumni, and community partners who deliver workshops,panels, mentorship, and program experiences
• Program coordination, stakeholder management, logistics, andoperations to ensure high-quality delivery of programming
• Support students and partners by managing schedules,communications, and program infrastructure

Due to the nature of our work, some evenings andweekends are required.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of experienceor master's degree or professionalcertification
• Experience coordinating programs, events, or partnerships.
• Experience working with college students, volunteers, orcommunity partners.
• Strong organizational, communication, and follow-throughskills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in higher education, nonprofit, entrepreneurshipprograms, or community-based initiatives.
• Experience working with alumni, external partners, orprofessional volunteers.
• Experience supporting event logistics, program communications,or stakeholder coordination.
• Demonstrated interest in entrepreneurship, innovation,startups, or economic development ecosystems.

Salary Range

$57,151 - $60,000
