Job summary

The Mount Sinai Health System seeks a Program Coordinator I to provide administrative, operational and programmatic support to a designated program area, helping coordinate activities and training across departments.

In this role you will assist in monitoring program effectiveness, support staff, help with seminars and grants-related tasks, and ensure information is disseminated about policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience may substitute for the degree when the experiences are closely related to the duties of the job.
• 1-2 years administrative experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates program activities and training with other departments to achieve objectives and share resources.
• Assists in monitoring and evaluating program effectiveness and improves support operations and systems.
• Provides assistance to staff in assigned areas to ensure program objectives are accomplished.
• May coordinate grant issues, reporting of statistics and data collection procedures.
• Assists in planning, coordination and implementation of seminars, conferences and workshops; suggests ideas for program themes and materials.
