Job summary

Woodfords Family Services in Maine seeks a Program Coordinator to oversee Preschool and SPPS programs. The role supports daily operations, curriculum development with the Behavior Analyst, and staff supervision in a year-round, onsite setting.

The position requires a Master’s in SPED, Maine 282 Certification (conditional/full), and a BHP certification, with at least two years of relevant experience. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in special education, early childhood, or related field is required.
• Conditional or full 282 Certification; full 282 preferred, from the Maine Department of Education.
• Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) certification is required.
• At least two years’ experience working with children with special needs.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and well being of students.
• Develop, plan and implement ABA curriculum with Behavior Analyst.
• Support development of each child’s goals and objectives.
• Coordinate admission and intake for preschool and SPPS programs.
• Supervise staff and monitor training compliance and efficacy.
• Attend agency, staff and IEP/ITP meetings.
• Liaise with CDS, school districts and referral sources.
• Complete required educational documentation for public schools.
• Act on behalf of Program Director in absence.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
