About This Position

As a member of the OSU Medicine Pediatrics academic team, the program coordinator plans and coordinates student rotations, ensures credentialing, training, orientation of students at rotation sites, collaborates with clerkship directors and the clinical education department to optimize the student and preceptor experience. The program coordinator will also support the residency coordinator in recruitment efforts involving students. The program coordinator will assist with the initial accreditation application to ACGME and manage the day-to-day operations of the fellowship program. In addition, the program coordinator may also assist the residency program coordinator in various other tasks and projects.

Responsibilities and Duties

Principal duties and responsibilities include planning and coordinating student rotations, ensuring credentialing and orientation of students at rotation sites, collaborating with clerkship directors and the clinical education department, supporting the residency coordinator in recruitment efforts, and assisting with accreditation application to ACGME and day‑to‑day operations of the fellowship program.

Required Qualifications

• Vocational/Technical or two (2) years of college or technical training or equivalent experience. (Degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
• Minimum 6 months to 1 year experience.
