Job summary

Rutgers University’s Rutgers School of Public Health in Newark seeks a Program Coordinator to support NIH-funded projects on health and wellness among sexual and gender minorities, with emphasis on communities of color. You will manage daily surveys, coordinate with CBOs, and help execute annual surveys while ensuring data quality and timely recruitment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Public Health or a related field plus relevant experience.
  • Master’s degree preferably in Public Health or a related field plus relevant experience.
  • Equivalent experience, education and/or training may be substituted for the degree requirement.
  • Experience with basic MS Office software

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the implementation of a daily survey study, tracking daily responses and coordinating with community-based organizations (CBOs).
  • Oversees implementation of an annual survey among Black youth communities.
  • Coordinates with staff at CBOs to meet recruitment and data collection goals.
  • Coordinates state policy coding.
  • Collaborates with PI and research team to support NIH-funded projects.
