University of New Hampshire in Durham is seeking a Program Coordinator for the Governor’s Health Awards Program to support Rural Health Transformation and GHAP Core activities. The Program Coordinator for the Governor’s Health Awards Program supports the Rural Health Transformation initiative as a member of the Governor’s Health Awards Program Core, providing organizational, administrative, and logistical coordination to ensure successful implementation of the Governor’s Health Award Program, workforce development, and partner‑engagement activities across rural regions. The position manages scheduling, communication, project tracking, and operational support for GHAP Core programs, working closely with faculty, staff, and rural healthcare partners to advance project goals.
Coordinate day‑to‑day operations for GHAP Core activities, including scheduling, communication, and resource planning. Manage logistics for information sessions, workshops, GHAP events, and partner engagement meetings. Track project milestones, deliverables, and timelines to ensure timely progress. Assist with preparation of program materials, reports, agendas, and documentation.
Serve as a primary point of contact for rural healthcare partners, learners, and program collaborators. Coordinate communication and information flow between GHAP core, and external partners. Support partner onboarding, scheduling, and information dissemination. Work closely with stakeholders to identify needs and ensure smooth coordination of GHAP activities.
Manage data collection processes for program evaluations, attendance, and outcome measures. Assist with preparation of reports for internal teams, grant funders, and project leadership. Maintain organized records, databases, and documentation consistent with project and regulatory requirements. Support continuous quality improvement initiatives within the GHAP Core.
Provide administrative support to faculty and staff within the GHAP Core. Support meeting planning, minute‑taking, scheduling, and communication tasks. Assist with procurement, travel coordination, and budget tracking as needed. Participate in team meetings and broader Rural Health Transformation planning efforts. Other duties as assigned.
Associate degree two (2) years of administrative, program coordination, project support, or related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience working in healthcare, education, public health, or community programs is beneficial.
Valid driver’s license (occasional travel to rural partner sites may be required).
Ability to coordinate multiple tasks, timelines, and stakeholders in a complex project environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with productivity tools, scheduling platforms, and data‑management systems. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively with clinicians, faculty, technical staff, and rural partners. Adaptability, professionalism, and a customer‑service mindset. Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and maintain confidentiality.
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and support event or training logistics as needed. Occasional travel required.
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, public health, education, administration, or related field. Experience coordinating programs in clinical, academic, or rural‑health settings. Experience with grant‑funded projects or workforce development programs. Familiarity with rural health systems, partner engagement, or distributed clinical education.

Compensation Pay Range: $20.15 - $33.15 The pay range for this position is listed above. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations.
