Job summary

Tobin Beaudet Schools seeks a warm, reliable Program Coordinator to support our school-age program in Needham, MA. This full-time role focuses on creating a safe, engaging environment for children while collaborating with colleagues and maintaining strong communication with families.

The Coordinator will facilitate daily activities, ensure supervision and safety, and uphold all regulatory standards set by EEC. Strong planning, teamwork, and data handling with Excel/Adobe are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field required.
  • Director 1 EEC Certified or ability to obtain.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Warm, engaging presence with the ability to build positive relationships.
  • High attention to detail with strong follow-through.
  • Ability to remain calm, organized, and collaborative in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; willingness to learn additional platforms.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when needed.
  • Comfortable receiving direction and providing others with direction.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Ability to meet physical demands, including lifting up to 35 lbs., climbing stairs, and active play.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and participate in daily activities that promote learning, creativity, and social-emotional development.
  • Support a warm, welcoming environment for children and families during drop-off and pick-up.
  • Communicate consistently with the team to coordinate schedules, classroom needs, and support for individual children.
  • Ensure safe, clean, and organized program spaces; report facility or supply needs promptly.
  • Provide consistent supervision and care for children throughout program hours.
  • Encourage positive relationships and strong school–family partnerships.
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Plan and communicate with the Director on a regular basis about school activities.
  • Process and format data using Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and other software.
  • Complete required documentation and support child assessments as needed.
  • Create and share timely classroom communications when appropriate.
  • Adhere to all school policies, procedures, and professional codes of ethics.
  • Participate in required trainings, professional development, and staff meetings.
  • Support children’s individual needs, including hygiene and personal care, as needed.
  • Serve as a mandated reporter and follow all required reporting procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Tobin Beaudet Schools is seeking a warm, reliable Program Coordinator to support our school-age program. This full-time role focuses on creating a safe, engaging environment for children while collaborating closely with colleagues and maintaining strong communication with families. The Program Coordinator facilitates daily activities, ensures consistent supervision, and upholds all safety and regulatory standards.

What will you be engaged in day-to-day?
