Job summary

University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) invites applications for the Program Coordinator of the Institute for Financial Literacy and Wellness (IFLW). The role plans and delivers university-wide financial literacy initiatives for 30,000+ students and supports collaboration across academic units.

The Coordinator mentors Graduate Assistants, manages the Institute’s schedule, assists with grant research and compliance, and aligns programs with UNLV’s retention and graduation goals while promoting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and three years of professional experience in program coordination, student services, or instructional design.
• Master’s degree may substitute for two years of required experience.
• Credentials must be obtained prior to the employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and deliver university-wide financial literacy and wellness initiatives for 30,000+ students.
• Research and select instructional strategies that integrate financial literacy into the student lifecycle.
• Mentor Graduate Assistants or student workers and manage the Institute’s daily schedule.
• Serve as central point of contact for internal collaborations and partnerships.
• Support grant research, compliance reporting, and resource stewardship aligned with UNLV goals.
