Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina seeks a Program Coordinator – Case Management to support the RN Case Managers and Social Workers across the interdisciplinary health care team. You will coordinate payer communication, assist with transition plan implementation, and manage patient documentation in alignment with department goals.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree with experience or equivalent qualifications, and involves standard duties with a 40-hour work week under an hourly pay

Qualifications

• Education/experience: Bachelor's degree with 1 year work experience; or high school diploma with 2–4 years work experience.
• This class provides broader professional duties within the program and may supervise in less technical areas.
• Maintains knowledge of assigned program areas and participates in planning and staff assignments.

Responsibilities

• Supports RN Case Managers and Social Workers across the interdisciplinary team.
• Coordinates payer communication and transition plan implementation.
• Delivers patient documentation and supports case management functions.

Education
