Job summary

Easterseals Western & Central Pennsylvania is seeking a Program Coordinator of Camps in York, PA. This full-time exempt role supports military children’s programs and residential camps, supervising staff and campers, and ensuring inclusive participation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required (Recreation/Therapeutic Recreation, or equivalent, preferred).
• First Aid/CPR/AED certification required (or to be obtained within the first three months prior to operation of the first program).
• Prior experience with behavior management required.
• Prior experience working in recreation programs and individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Current valid Pennsylvania driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
• Acceptable Criminal Record Check, Child Abuse History and FBI Clearance required.
• Passing of physical examination and TB required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development, planning, marketing and implementation of the military children's programs and residential camping.
• Supervise staff and campers at camp.
• Facilitate the inclusion of all participants.
• Plan, implement and oversee the camps reflecting the needs of the region and the clients.
• Analyze program content and outcomes; evaluate budgets and surveys.
