Job summary

Easterseals Delaware in New Castle, Delaware is seeking a Program Supervisor to lead day-to-day activities and support individuals with intellectual disabilities. This full-time role requires daytime hours Monday through Friday and a collaborative approach to helping people learn life skills and achieve greater independence.

You will guide staff, monitor progress, and promote a welcoming, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Must have compassion for others and the desire to support adults with disabilities.
• Must be able to work M-F (daytime).
• Driving record in good standing.
• 2+ years’ instructional experience in a day program setting.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and guidance to staff and individuals with intellectual disabilities as they learn important life skills such as communication and daily routines.
• Build relationships with the people you support to promote independence in everyday life.
• Support program staff in delivering person-centered services and ensuring a safe, positive learning environment.

This is a full-time, 40-hour per week opportunity Monday-Friday, day-time hours.
