Job summary

Community Hope, Inc. is seeking a Program Coordinator to help lead the Hope for Veterans Program.

You’ll support day-to-day operations, guide staff, and help ensure veterans receive high-quality care in a compassionate, compliant environment. In this role, you’ll supervise counselors and case managers, provide crisis guidance, partner with the Housing Director to meet standards, build community partnerships, coordinate activities, and maintain confidential records.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field.
• Current LAC, LSW, LPC, LCSW, or LCADC license.
• Knowledge of veterans’ issues, mental illness, addiction, and homelessness.

Responsibilities

• Supervise counselors and case managers; provide training, coaching, and evaluations.
• Provide clinical guidance and on-call crisis intervention support.
• Collaborate with the Veterans Housing Director to uphold quality and standards.
• Build partnerships with referrals and community organizations; support outreach.
• Coordinate activities, cover shifts, and ensure a safe, compliant facility.
• Maintain accurate, confidential service and billing records.
• Transport veterans safely using agency vehicles as needed.

HOPE FOR VETERANS PROGRAM

Help lead a program that supports veterans as they work toward stability and recovery. As Program Coordinator, you’ll support the day-to-day operation of the Hope for Veterans Program, guide staff, and help ensure veterans receive high-quality care.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Supervise and support Behavioral Health Counselors and Case Managers through training, coaching, performance evaluations, and professional development.
• Provide clinical guidance and on-call support for crisis intervention and emergencies.
• Partner with the Veterans Housing Director to maintain program quality and meet regulatory, stakeholder, and accreditation standards.
• Build relationships with referral sources and community partners, and support program development and outreach.
• Help coordinate program activities, cover shifts or staff duties when needed, and maintain a safe facility.
• Keep service documentation, billing-related records, and veteran information accurate and confidential.
• Transport veterans safely in agency vehicles when needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in social work, psychology, or a related field.
• Current LAC, LSW, LPC, LCSW, or LCADC license.
• Knowledge of veterans’ issues, mental illness, addiction, and homelessness.
