Job summary

Kaizen Lab Inc. seeks dedicated staff to provide residential support services to veterans in a structured program. You will deliver crisis intervention, ensure safety, and assist with daily operations in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mental Health or related discipline required.
• Two years of college plus two years related work or life experience accepted.
• High School diploma with four years of related homelessness/mental health/veteran service experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide supportive counseling to veterans in need of crisis intervention and emergency services.
• Monitor residents’ safety and maintain residence upkeep.
• Provide transportation as required.
• Participate as a team member in facility maintenance and safety procedures.
• Document service delivery and clinical notes.
• Conduct fire and life safety drills and education.
• Record pertinent information in logs and reports.

$500 Sign-On Bonus for Full-time shifts

available Shifts:

FULL-TIME | Monday-Friday: 3pm-11pm

PART-TIME | Overnight Saturday & Sunday: 11pm-7am (16 total hrs.)

PER-DIEM | Covering shifts as needed.

Providing residential support services to veterans in the program.

• Provides supportive counseling to veterans in need of crisis intervention and emergency services.
• Monitors veterans in housekeeping maintenance and upkeep of the residence.
• Provides transportation as required.
• Participates as a team member in the maintenance and care of the facility and ensures the safety of the veterans in the program.
• Assists in the administration of drug and alcohol screenings.
• Documents service delivery and maintains accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Implements fire and life safety standards eg: fire drills and fire safety education
• Distributes veteran mail as needed.
• Executes all emergency procedures such as medical emergencies, crisis intervention, fire and/or smoke, police emergency, AED/ First Aid, etc. as per the Agency’s Policy and Procedure Manual.
• Documents any and all pertinent information in and reviews the Communication Log Book, Resident Sign-In Log, Medication Sign-In Log, Pass Authorization Log, and reporting any violations to the Program Coordinator.
• Participates in supervision meetings with the Program Coordinator.
• Conducts regular checks to ensure the safety and whereabouts of all veterans in the residence.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mental Health or a related discipline; OR two years of college plus two years of related work or life experience, OR a High School diploma and four years of related experience in homelessness, mental health, or recovery services, or veteran service experience.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license, with a good driving record.
