Job summary

Community Options is hiring a Program Coordinator Assistant (PCA) in Grand Forks, ND. This full-time role supports the Residential Services team with administrative tasks and directly assists customers with daily activities, including appointments, transportation, and benefits paperwork.

The candidate will work closely with Program Supervisors and Coordinators, requiring strong organizational and communication skills, familiarity with MS Office, and a commitment to client-centered care.

Qualifications

  • Access to a working mobile phone.
  • CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain during training.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Pass a background check, MVR, drug screen, and DHS pre-employment approval.

  • Assist with daily administrative tasks and customer support.
  • Coordinate appointments and transportation for customers.
  • Assist with benefits paperwork and related administrative duties.

Community Options has a unique position open as a Program Coordinator Assistant (PCA) in the Residential Services department. This position works closely with our Program Supervisors and Coordinators to assist with administrative tasks and directly with our customers, assisting with daily functions, including appointments, transportation to appointments, completing benefits paperwork, etc.

The salary for this position is $20.40 - $25.50 an hour, depending on experience (DOE).

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
  • At least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Experience working in a human service environment or direct experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Access to working mobile phone (iPhone/ Android)
  • CPR and First Aid certification, or ability to obtain successfully during new hire training period
  • A valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance for the vehicle subject to the statute of the licensing state and the ability to travel based on operational and clientele needs
  • Successfully pass a criminal background check, including Motor Vehicle Record (MVR), drug screening, and ND Department of Human Service (DHS) pre-employment approval
  • Completion of training as required by Community Options
Must possess certain basic skills, including the ability to:
  • Accurately observe and recall surroundings and events
  • Strong organizational skills and communication skills
  • Experience with computers and related software, including Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Communicate information, concisely, and accurately
  • Read, write, understand, and apply written instructions in English

Employees are required to operate a motor vehicle and travel as deemed necessary. Assigned work shifts and locations will vary depending on the customers’ and/ or agency's needs.
