Job summary

Prairie Community Services, Inc. is seeking a Program Coordinator for Courtwood Home in Roseau, MN. The role covers all aspects of a 24‑hour operation serving individuals with disabilities and mental health needs, including staff supervision, program coordination, and regulatory compliance.

The starting salary is $58,240, with on-site duties. The position requires leadership, training, and documentation across shifts to ensure high-quality, person-centered services and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old or as licensure requires.
• Must pass DHS background clearance.
• Must have valid driver’s license and meet company driving criteria.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English for business use.
• Experience working with individuals with a mental health diagnosis.
• Preferred: nurse background or two-year associate degree/direct care experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, evaluate, update, and train on each person’s services, supports, and outcomes.
• Ensure needs and program expectations of persons served are met 24 hours/day.
• Follow recipes, menus and diets as ordered when preparing and serving meals/snacks.
• Ensure medical treatments and medications are ordered, stored, documented, and given as ordered.
• Communicate professionally with people served, families, outside services, staff and the public.
• Develop and maintain staff schedules including time-off approvals/denials.
• Ensure documentation of daily program information.
• Attend/lead in-services, complete employee performance reviews, and handle hire/discipline/termination processes.
