Job summary

Prairie Community Services, Inc. is seeking a Program Coordinator for Edgewood Home in Thief River Falls, MN. This full-time, on-site role oversees 24-hour supports for individuals with developmental and behavioral needs, supervising staff and ensuring high-quality, person-centered programming.

The starting salary is $58,240 per year. Candidates need a BA/BS in human services, a valid driver’s license, and DHS background clearance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English.
• Must pass DHS background clearance.
• Must have valid driver’s license and meet company driving criteria.
• BA or BS degree in human services or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, evaluate, update, and train on each person’s services, supports, and outcomes.
• Ensure needs and program expectations of persons served are met 24 hours/day.
• Follow recipes, menus and diets as ordered when preparing and serving meals/snacks.
• Ensure medical treatments and medications are ordered, secured, stored, documented, and given as medically ordered.
• Communicate professionally with people we serve, families, external services, PCS staff and the public.
• Develop and maintain staff schedules including time-off approvals/denials.
• Document daily program information.
• Attend/lead in-services, conduct performance reviews, hire, discipline and terminate staff.
