Job summary

Lutheran Services is seeking a capable Program Coordinator to join the Support Centre in Milton. You will help strengthen governance, support project teams, and ensure high-quality delivery while partnering with executives and stakeholders.

The role focuses on enabling timely, accurate project delivery within the SP​MO, using established frameworks and templates, and contributing to enterprise reporting and risk visibility across a growing non-profit across Queensland.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience as a Program or Project Coordinator.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and practices.
  • High proficiency with project management tools, schedules, and budgets.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills across all organisational levels.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, changing environments.
  • A self-starter mindset, strong teamwork, and excellent interpersonal communication.
  • (Desirable) Project management certification or willingness to work toward it.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating program activities, meetings, workshops, and governance forums
  • Supporting project managers with scheduling, documentation, risk/issue management, and administration
  • Managing program inboxes, information flow, and stakeholder enquiries
  • Maintaining templates, registers, and shared workspaces
  • Conducting quality checks to ensure alignment with SPMO frameworks
  • Preparing consolidated reports, dashboards, and governance updates
  • Maintaining accurate data across systems, registers, and schedules
  • Supporting budget tracking, schedule maintenance, and milestone monitoring
  • Assisting with communication materials, presentations, and workshop coordination
  • Contributing to enterprise-level reporting, dependency tracking, and visibility of delivery risks
  • Identifying emerging risks and supporting continuous improvement

Lutheran Services is seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Coordinator to join our team at Support Centre. This is a growing space, where you will be at the centre of our ambitious growth strategy to double the number of people we serve by 2030. In this role, you will support the Strategic Project Management Office (SPMO). As a Program Coordinator within our Strategic Project Management Office (SPMO), you’ll play a key role in strengthening project delivery across Lutheran Services. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on structure, accuracy, and enabling others to succeed.

About the Role:
