Job summary

Responsibilities

• Oversee the organization of parts in the build room and internal transportation.
• Communicate part status and urgencies to departments and Program Managers.
• Coordinate studio setup and closure for projects.
• Document materials received from customers and sent to customers via shippers.
• Track and coordinate scrapped/sold material with input from the PM.
• Notify Ops Manager when studios are cleared for new projects.
• Ensure program timelines are posted in the build room.
• Maintain BOM tracking for parts and coordinate outsourcing as needed.
• Assist Build Leads and PMs with procurement of project parts and hardware.
• Create shippers for PMs as needed.
• Ensure part releases match customer documentation before final finishing.
• Act as internal backup to PMs during PTO.

• Responsible for the overall organization of parts in the build room and internal transportation of parts throughout the build process.


• Communicate part status, needs and urgencies to respective departments and Program Managers.


• Coordinate studio set up at the beginning of a project and studio closure at the end of a project.


• Document materials received from customer and materials sent to customer, via shippers and photo documentation.


• Track and coordinate scrapped/sold material, with input from the Program Manager.


• Notifies Operations Manager when studios are cleared and ready for a new project.


• Ensures program timelines are posted in the build room.


• Maintains Project Coordinator section of the project Bill of Material – tracking part location, coordinates outsourcing activities as necessary, procures any parts specified by Engineering/Design team.


• Assist Build Leads and Program Managers with procurement of project parts and hardware.


• Creates shippers for Program Managers, as needed.


• Ensures part releases are accurate to customer-provided documentation prior to final part finishing.


• Acts as internal backup to Program Managers while they are out on PTO.
