Brown University in Rhode Island seeks a Program Coordinator to support undergraduate programs within The College. You will coordinate communications, manage program operations and financials, and assist with events and cross-training across teams.

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Administration and Operations, you’ll serve as a liaison among staff, deans, students, and campus partners, ensuring policy alignment and timely delivery of services.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree and 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with project management and/or event planning, with excellent communication skills and ability to organize, prioritize, and follow through on complex, multi-deadline projects.
  • Fluency with computers and various applications (Google office applications, web editing platforms, etc.).
  • Ability to work with data and run reports; familiarity with databases and website management a plus.
  • Ability to use judgment and discretion and maintain confidentiality with sensitive personal information.
  • Ability to work with speed and accuracy to meet deadlines.
  • Customer-focused, and customer service oriented
  • Ability to occasionally work in the late-afternoon/early-evening/weekend for specific and critical pre-planned program, College, and University events.

This position serves as an independent coordinator between staff, deans, students, faculty, and campus partners. Responsibilities include developing knowledge of and facility with Brown’s academic and financial policies and procedures and providing project management and logistical support for communications, events, program applications, and other processes. This position serves as an initial point of contact, addressing general and program-specific inquiries from multiple stakeholder groups, and connecting them with resources across the University.
