Job summary

MaineHealth's Department of Critical Care seeks a Program Coordinator to manage the operational rhythm behind critical care education, coordinating with physician leaders, program teams, and learners to ensure programs run smoothly and effectively.

This hybrid role requires strong organizational skills, collaboration with diverse stakeholders, and the ability to handle complex scheduling and education governance activities, including maintaining Canvas and SharePoint platforms and supporting

Qualifications

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • One year of healthcare or related work experience required.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to manage schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate ICU schedules for medical students, interns, and residents.
  • Collaborate with Internal Medicine and Emergency Department leaders, residency and fellowship coordinators, and program management.
  • Plan and organize Critical Care Grand Rounds and departmental educational programs.
  • Support Education Governance Council meetings and related initiatives.
  • Maintain and update educational platforms, including Canvas and SharePoint.
  • Assist the Vice Chair of Education with evaluations, reporting, and new educational initiatives.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for faculty, learners, vendors, and other stakeholders.

Join our Department of Critical Care and play a key role in supporting the education and development of future healthcare professionals. As a Program Coordinator, you'll manage the operational rhythm behind critical care education, partnering with physician leaders, program teams, and learners to ensure programs run smoothly and effectively.

In this role, you will:
  • Coordinate ICU schedules for medical students, interns, and residents
  • Collaborate with Internal Medicine and Emergency Department leaders, residency and fellowship coordinators, and program management
  • Plan and organize Critical Care Grand Rounds and departmental educational programs
  • Support Critical Care Education Governance Council meetings and related initiatives
  • Maintain and update educational platforms, including Canvas and SharePoint

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

The pay range for this position is $45,697.60to $60,902.40per year.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full‑time equivalent (FTE).
