  • Experience coordinating administrative or program operations in higher education, government, nonprofit, compliance, student services, or a similarly complex environment.
  • Experience using databases, case-management platforms, electronic record systems, or enterprise resource planning systems.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily administrative and office operations for ONAC.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for office inquiries, intake, and customer service.
  • Support EEO, ADA, and Title IX programs through records management, reporting, and administrative coordination.
  • Maintain databases, electronic records, websites, and case management systems.
  • Collect, track, and prepare data and reports to support departmental and compliance initiatives.
  • Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and personnel-related administrative processes.
  • Support purchasing, budget reconciliation, and departmental operational needs.
  • Manage multiple priorities while handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Office of Nondiscrimination and Accommodations Compliance (ONAC):

The Office of Nondiscrimination & Accommodations Compliance (ONAC) oversees and implements the University's program for compliance with federal and state laws covering equal opportunity and civil rights, Title IX, and disability, pregnancy, or religious accommodations. ONAC oversees the development of effective policies and procedures, education and training, monitoring, communication, and responding to reported concerns. ONAC staff are responsible for the following activities: Compliance, Complaint Resolution, Accommodations, Information, and Training.

The Opportunity

UCF's Office of Nondiscrimination and Accommodations Compliance (ONAC) is hiring a Program Coordinator to support the systems, processes, and daily operations that keep the office moving forward. The position coordinates front-office activities, inquiry intake and triage, records and database management, report preparation, purchasing, recruitment support, and a variety of departmental projects.

The role offers an opportunity for an experienced administrative professional to become a trusted operational resource within a complex and meaningful area of the university. Strong candidates will bring excellent organization, attention to detail, customer service, and discretion, as well as confidence learning new systems and navigating multiple priorities.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6).

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience coordinating administrative or program operations in higher education, government, nonprofit, compliance, student services, or a similarly complex environment.
  • Strong office management experience supporting administrative operations, business processes, and customer service functions.
  • Experience using databases, case-management platforms, electronic record systems, or enterprise resource planning systems.
  • Experience collecting, maintaining, and preparing data for recurring or ad hoc reports.
  • Experience supporting purchasing, invoice processing, expense reconciliation, or budget administration.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and web-based administrative systems.

The most successful candidates may possess the following qualities:

  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including experience assisting individuals with empathy and professionalism.
  • Experience handling confidential or sensitive information with discretion and sound professional judgment.
Employment Requirements
  • Position requires a valid Class E driver's license. This position may involve driving to various locations on and off campus to conduct University business.
