The Education Fund is a non-profit partnership between six Locals of the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) and 22 Healthcare Industry employers, serving the education and training needs of 100,000 eligible workers. Our mission is to empower our diverse healthcare workforce to advance in a changing environment through innovative education and training solutions. Our program and budget have doubled in scale over the last five years to provide career advancement and continuing education services to 20,000 learners annually, and we are positioned for continued growth with new partners and funding.
The Program Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the alignment of the department, coordinating activities of all programs throughout the organization, and the support of various programs that occur in the department. The Program Coordinator is part of the Education Department and reports to the Assistant Director of Education. They collaborate significantly and on an ongoing basis with individuals and units across the organization, including other members of the department.
Works independently within the scope and direction of the Assistant Director of Education and in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
Works in a fast-paced office setting with frequent interruptions and many demands on time. The position may require interaction with external collaborators, participants, and other partners. Travel required.
