Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Program Controls Specialist II (Finance) to join a team focused on program analysis, process improvements, and metrics. You will collaborate with an Integrated Program Team (IPT) to develop program plans, analyze data, and inform strategic decisions, including resources and earned value methods.

The role emphasizes cost and schedule integration, independent work, and support for organizational initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in business analytics.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

  • Launch and execute programs.
  • Develop initial program baselines.
  • Prepare and analyze internal cost report data.
  • Manage EAC (estimate at completion) for assigned programs.
  • Ensure cost/schedule integration.
  • Communicate with integrated program teams.
  • Apply EVM (earned value management) knowledge.
  • Perform data analytics using PM processes.
  • Assist with guiding new specialists and team members.

Join a team of Program Control Specialist that provide program analysis, process improvement, and metrics for Honeywell. You will partner with an Integrated Program Team (IPT), assisting them in developing program plans and analyzing data to help make informed and strategic decisions, using data and reports. You will gain insights and experience with other Program Control Specials responsibilities such as assigning resources/budgets to work scope and earned value methods.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for program launch and execution
  • Development of initial program baselines
  • Prepare and analyze internal cost report data
  • EAC (estimate at completion) management on assigned programs
  • Compliant to baseline change management processes
  • Ensures cost and schedule integration
  • Proactively and effectively communicates with integrated program teams
  • Apply EVM (earned value management) knowledge and procedures to programs
  • Effective data analytics using Program Management processes
  • Ability to work independently and part of large and diverse team
  • Supports organizational feedback for utilized tools and process efficiencies
  • Participates in organizational initiatives
  • Assist with guiding new Specialists and team members
Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 2+ years experience in business analytics
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

  • Degree in Business, Math, Finance or Economics or related field
  • Experience as Program Controls Specialist
  • Ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience
  • User experience of SAP system
  • Experience in financial data compilation, analysis and metrics management
  • Experience in usage of Earned Value metrics, managing budgets and milestone fidelity.
  • Project Management certification
  • Cost Reporting Experience: CPR, IPMR, IPMDAR, CFSR
  • Integrated Master Schedule experience: Microsoft Project, SSI Tool
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
