Job summary

NAVFAC in Bremerton, WA is seeking a Program Control Specialist (GS-1101-13) to help integrate SIOP initiatives with shipyard leadership and fleets. The role emphasizes coordinating schedules, budgets, and industrial data to support high-level briefings.

You will facilitate Modeling and Simulation efforts, track risk mitigation, and align shipyard equipment lists with priorities, schedules, and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Integrate SIOP with key stakeholders including Shipyard Commander, Fleets, NAVSEA, PEO II, NAVFAC and CNIC.
• Collaborate with shipyard operations, facilities, and business office to align schedules with SIOP initiatives.
• Coordinate with Fleets to align availability schedules.
• Support Modeling and Simulation (Mod/Sim) efforts, including Area Development Plans and industrial facility studies.
• Develop and track risk mitigation plans and capture lessons learned.
• Prepare and analyze industrial data to support high-level briefings and presentations.
• Integrate SIOP initiatives and industrial requirements into shipyard equipment lists, schedules, and budgets.

• You will integrate products and services related to SIOP with all major stakeholders such as the Shipyard Commander, the Fleets, NAVSEA, PEOII, NAVFAC and CNIC.
• You will collaborate with shipyard operations, facilities department, business office, and others to integrate and align schedules and SIOP initiatives.
• You will collaborate with the Fleets to integrate and align availability schedules.
• You will facilitate and support Modeling and Simulation (Mod/Sim) efforts, including Area Development Plans and other industrial facility projects and studies.
